GUILDHALL EVENT SPACE

COOGEE COMMON

Located just south of Fremantle, Coogee Common is a beautifully restored heritage venue that blends rustic charm with sustainable elegance. Once the historic Coogee Hotel, the building now overlooks lush organic gardens, the perfect setting for a relaxed, earthy celebration.

With a capacity of up to 150 guests seated or 250 cocktail-style, Coogee Common offers several spaces for ceremonies and receptions. Exchange vows on The Terrace overlooking the gardens, enjoy canapés in The Cottage, then move into The Ferment Room or The Shed for a cozy or open-air reception. For larger celebrations, full venue hire allows exclusive use of the grounds from ceremony to dance floor.

FREMANTLE MARRIAGE OFFICE

For couples wanting something meaningful, intimate, and full of Fremantle charm, The Fremantle Marriage Office at The Old Courthouse offers a one-of-a-kind setting where heritage meets heart.

Located in the beautifully restored Civil Courtroom of the original Fremantle Courthouse, this venue combines old-world grandeur with a modern, fuss-free wedding experience. Think six-metre-high ceilings, arched windows, and original convict-era architecture, all steeped in history and romance.

Each ceremony includes a registered marriage celebrant, all the legal paperwork, and exclusive use of the Courtroom for 45 minutes. The space is elegantly styled with classic florals and guest seating, making it perfect for elopements, micro weddings, or intimate ceremonies of up to 80 guests.

Afterwards, you can keep the celebration going onsite, the Old Courthouse is fully licensed and offers canapés, shared platters, or a seated menu for post-ceremony drinks or receptions.

Perched on the dunes of Leighton Beach, Bib & Tucker offers one of Fremantle’s most stunning coastal backdrops for weddings.
