PERTH CBD WEDDING | SHERIDAN & LUKE

Wedding Ceremony at St ColumbA’s Church, South Perth before Wedding reception at The flour factory

The Flour Factory in Queen Street, Perth was built in the 19th century and as the name suggests, was a flour mill. Downstairs is a bar & eatery with a gin wheel if that is your thing, and upstairs is a unique room with wooden floors, exposed beams & white walls that you can make your own when styling your wedding. Perfect for cocktail & sitdown weddings alike.

Sheridan & Luke were married in South Perth at St Columba’s Church which is one of my favourite churches in Perth as not only does it have beautiful light and space inside, cute green doors perfect for family photos and a great ‘exiting the church married’ shot (see photos below), it has plenty of shade in summer with the plain trees providing gorgeous green foliage for guests on the hottest of days.

After the ceremony we headed to UWA for portraits before heading to the city. Sheridan & Luke snuck into their reception room to view the gorgeous styling before guests ruined it with bags & coats, were seated which I ALWAYS recommend doing if time allows. They had a cheeky drink in the Sherry Room before heading to the streets of Perth for some more photos while guests arrived.

The reception started with the first dance, and the fun, chatting, mingling and formalities went into the night. Such a fun night and the perfect venue to facilitate a relaxed wedding reception with amazing food & service as always!
