When I met Tara & Tim and they started talking about their wedding, I knew it was going to be fun and funky. They had been together for thirteen years after meeting in Darwin, so they wanted the wedding to be a big party with their family and friends, many who had travelled from interstate for the day. After the ceremony Tara and Tim wanted to mingle with their guests, rather than leave them for an hour or two for photos, so they arranged to meet beforehand and have photos, then go to their ceremony.
Tara & Tim chose the Roundhouse in Fremantle to have their ‘first look’ and then head to the Peppermint Grove/Mosman Park foreshore for some more photos.
The ceremony was held at Greenplace Reserve in Mosman Park and is such a pretty location. Also, have to love that Mosman Park moves into total shade at around 4pm so their was no harsh sunlight and it was very protected from the very strong seabreeze (which I am sure kept the temperature down at a lovely 30 degrees as there was not a cloud in the sky).
It was a very joyful ceremony, helped along by over 100 very enthusiastic guests and celebrant Sandy Bayly, whose fun, relaxed and enthusiastic approach totally suited the day. Live music was provided by Tim’s sister and the party started straight after the ceremony and continued at Mosman Park Golf Course.
Tara & Tim, thankyou for asking me to document your day. I had so much fun and I hope you enjoy your holiday!
