WEDDING PHOTO CANVAS COMPETITION!

Announcing my first Facebook competition!

From now until November 30th, you can upload your favourite wedding photo taken by me and ask friends and family to vote for your wedding photo on facebook.  The photo with the most votes will win a professional canvas to hang on the wall!  This part of the competition is only available for previous wedding clients of Photography by Emma Pointon (if you are having your wedding shot by me in the next season, I will be running the competition at the end of the current season so vote this time round and keep following the blog for your chance to enter!).  To encourage lots of voting activity, all voters have a chance to win a Fremantle portrait session.  If the voter is unable to get to Fremantle for a portrait session then they have the option of gifting the session on (just in time for Christmas!!!).  But hurry, you only have one month to upload your images and spread the word and help your favorite image win.

ERIN ♥ MICHAEL {PERTH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY}

Wow.  That is all I can say about the last wedding of the season.

Ok maybe not.  I am not known as a woman of few words.  From the gorgeous Samantha Wynne dress on the positively petite Erin, to the way that Michael looked at his bride the whole way through the ceremony, every moment of this wedding was beautiful and no amount of rain could stop this wedding from being the best way to end the season, on a visual high!  Michael could not stop looking at Erin and Erin could not stop smiling and laughing all the way through this wedding.  This wedding was truly full of joy.

There was a little bit of chaos and rain while Erin was getting ready but once the ceremony got underway at St Michael's of the Archangel Church in Leederville, everything else was smooth sailing.  After the formalities were over, Erin & Michael chose to have photos at the Five Bar in Mt Lawley.  There was some really funky places to have some portraits taken and some amazing light.  We also managed to find some walls along Beaufort Street and some pretty trees and late afternoon light! Then it was off to The Breakwater in Hillary's for the reception.

Erin and Michael, I hope you are having a fabulous time on your round the world honeymoon and can find some time to enjoy the photos!

And lastly a massive, massive thank you to Jasmin for being my wing-woman on so this and so many weddings this season!  Thankyou for helping me find the light, for cracking inappropriate jokes and your infectious laugh!
