anwen + tyson {sandalford winery wedding}

Anwen & Tyson live in NSW so planning their Swan Valley wedding at Sandalford was going to be a major event, with guests flying in from NSW, New Zealand and Jenny, all the way from Wales.  They chose the beautiful Sandalford Winery for their ceremony and reception location.  During the ceremony, Anwen & Tyson's Mums were presented with a rose by Sandy Bayly, the celebrant.

After the formalities were over, while the guests went for canapes and wine (and some photos in the Photobooth!), the bridal party headed down to the vines for some photos.  So the photo sessions is supposed to be a bit of fun and a chance to relax, but these guys didn't really relax as such. They jumped around, constantly laughed at each other and themselves and really all Jas & I had to do was shoot.

We did have a crew for this wedding, Jasmin, who second shot and manned the photobooth for the evening, and Clare & JB who moved into the world of wedding fusion by shooting the video footage for the fusion video I will be producing for Anwen & Tyson, so a BIG thankyou to you all!  Hope you had lots of fun as well!!

Anwen & Tyson, I hope you had an amazing day and enjoy the images!

Pausing for the plane flyover...

Usually I get a shot of the girls looking at the bride's ring so I love this reversal shot!

Yeah, I am not sure what is happening here...

Tyson was given a few tokens during the speeches, a timer so that he can keep to Anwen's strict timekeeping apparently, and a block of wood to carve a love spoon, which is an old Welsh custom.

When I look at these images of the dancing, I cannot help but sing "I had the time of my life" - it was the song they danced to and it has been stuck in my head for weeks!

And so the dancing began...

CHRISTINE + DOUG {SWAN VALLEY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY}

Christine & Doug told me that they wanted a casual, fun, relaxed wedding day starting with a morning ceremony and a lunch time reception.

Their ceremony was at the beautiful Sitella Winery with the gazebo as a backdrop, until it started raining just after the vows, then it was a quick duck into the gazebo for the wedding guests before the ceremony continued.  One part of the ceremony that I loved was a mutual friend of Christine & Doug read out the story of they became a couple, with a bit of meddling from friends.

After a quick photo session around the grounds of Sitella we headed to the newly renovated Upper Reach Winery for the reception in the wonderful Broads restaurant.  This reception venue is a new favourite of mine!  I loved everything from the funky green wallpaper to the quirky bits and bobs around the place.  The lunchtime reception meant that Christine & Doug could have time with their guests then later on have a few minutes to wander around Upper Reach for a more few photos in the light.

Big thanks to Jas again for being my awesome second shooter and details extraordinaire!  Plus making me laugh for six hours straight, my cheeks were so sore!

Christine & Doug, I hope the wedding was as much fun as you had wished for and that you both are having an amazing time on honeymoon in Fiji.

Les Trois Amie provided the ceremony music, including my favourite song, Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah.

Checking out their new rings!

Christine & Doug tried the holding hands and looking bored photo that is popular these days... but it didn't really work for them!  The following image is more their personality!

Ok if someone tried to stop me from eating cheese like this there would have been a fork in the thigh 'incident' straight after this image...

Katherine made the cake and cupcakes again (if you have been following me for a while you will know her cakes from her wedding, Az & Jason's wedding, and Peta & Matthew's wedding too!)  I FINALLY got to eat one and it was definitely worth the wait!  OMG chocolate-y goodness!

PAULINE ♥ CAM {RIVERBANK ESTATE WEDDING}

This wedding was so lovely and sweet and a joy to photograph :)

Pauline stayed at the gorgeous Earlsferry House to get ready for the wedding and it was a little bit vintage and a little bit quirky, just perfect for a few portraits before the ceremony.

After a bit of a mix up, Pauline & Cam chose the Riverbank Estate in the Swan Valley for their wedding.  They couldn't have chosen a more spectacular view for their ceremony and as the ceremony was scheduled at 5pm, the light was so golden!  With the light low in the sky it was a quick portrait session up the road before the couple returned to party with their friends and family.  Cam is a chef and carefully selected the menu to treat their guests to a food feast!

Pauline & Cam, thank you for asking me to capture your special day.  I hope you enjoy this selection of images!

Pauline's dress had pockets!  Perfect for keeping tissues and speeches and lipgloss on hand!
