RHIANNE + RUSSELL {PERTH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY}

Rhianne & Russell had a beautiful wedding ceremony at the Perth Zoo, in the Japanese Garden.  This was my first wedding that I had shot at the Perth Zoo and I was so impressed with the location and the efficiency of the volunteers that helped with all the behind the scenes details.  When Rhianne's Dad was walking her down the aisle, I don't think I have ever seen a Dad look happier or prouder, although he lost brownie points after adding 'gladly' to the giving away section of the ceremony :)  After the ceremony and family portraits, the volunteers whisked us away on the golf buggies to fit into our slot at the carousel!  We got their 15 minutes before closing time so they got the carousel moving!

They then went to King Street for some portraits on the street, with some amazing light reflecting off the brick buildings.  I love how you can take photos in front of Tiffany's, which must happen at least once every weekend in Perth, but the shop assistants there always poke their heads in the windows to check out the wedding with a smile on their face!  It is nice to know that working in the business of love, they love to see a wedding.

After King Street we headed to the Bell Tower to meet up with the boat that was to ferry the bridal party to The Boatshed for the reception.  Rhianne & Russell love spending time on their boat, and according to every speech that night, Russell is completely boat-mad so this part of their wedding day really reflected who they were as a couple.  They walked in and had their first dance, then settled down for a lovely evening with the beautiful view of the Swan River and Perth surrounding them.

Big thanks to Jas again for second shooting.  Rhianne & Russell, I hope you had an amazing day and enjoy the images!

Asha ♥ Chris {Kings Park Wedding}

These guys met at work almost five years ago, at the company that Asha's Dad worked at too!  Thankfully, Asha did not listen to her father's advice to stay away from the young guys at work otherwise this beautiful couple would not have had such an amazing wedding day!

This wedding was a product of Asha's vision and it could not have gone better, or looked more beautiful.  The ceremony at Kings Park was gorgeous and we got to use the natural beauty of the Australian bush as a backdrop.  AND THE LIGHT!

After a quick stop off at the Blue Boat Shed, we headed to the Old Swan Brewery where I got to hop aboard a rather large and lavish boat to join the couple, their bridal party and partners on a little jaunt around the Swan River.  It was such a relaxing way to spend a couple of hours, much better than hopping in and out of a limo at different sites around Perth on such a hot day!

A big thanks to Jasmin who second shot for me and while I enjoyed a nice cruise on the river, captured some great shots of the guests enjoying themselves at the Old Swan Brewery, waiting for the couple to return!

Asha & Chris, I hope you enjoy this rather large selection of images!

Asha & Chris's photobooth was a polaroid printer, then guests stuck the photo in the guestbook and signed!

A relative made this cake and I stood near it during the speeches and almost drooled with the chocolate/orange smell that engulfed me...  sometimes this job is REALLY hard!
