RHIANNE + RUSSELL {PERTH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY}

Rhianne & Russell had a beautiful wedding ceremony at the Perth Zoo, in the Japanese Garden.  This was my first wedding that I had shot at the Perth Zoo and I was so impressed with the location and the efficiency of the volunteers that helped with all the behind the scenes details.  When Rhianne's Dad was walking her down the aisle, I don't think I have ever seen a Dad look happier or prouder, although he lost brownie points after adding 'gladly' to the giving away section of the ceremony :)  After the ceremony and family portraits, the volunteers whisked us away on the golf buggies to fit into our slot at the carousel!  We got their 15 minutes before closing time so they got the carousel moving!

They then went to King Street for some portraits on the street, with some amazing light reflecting off the brick buildings.  I love how you can take photos in front of Tiffany's, which must happen at least once every weekend in Perth, but the shop assistants there always poke their heads in the windows to check out the wedding with a smile on their face!  It is nice to know that working in the business of love, they love to see a wedding.

After King Street we headed to the Bell Tower to meet up with the boat that was to ferry the bridal party to The Boatshed for the reception.  Rhianne & Russell love spending time on their boat, and according to every speech that night, Russell is completely boat-mad so this part of their wedding day really reflected who they were as a couple.  They walked in and had their first dance, then settled down for a lovely evening with the beautiful view of the Swan River and Perth surrounding them.

Big thanks to Jas again for second shooting.  Rhianne & Russell, I hope you had an amazing day and enjoy the images!

ILDA ♥ BRAD {PERTH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY}

When you shoot an epic wedding for 13 hours, with 2 photographers plus a photobooth complete with some serious black and white styling, you end up with a lot of photos and A LOT of favourites.  I have managed to cull the favourites down to a reasonable sized blog post but if you are hankering for more of this gorgeous wedding, check out the Facebook Album or their photobooth blog post!

This wedding really represented Ilda & Brad, it was a stunning day and everything was so stress free and lots of fun! Their ceremony was held at St Brigid's Church, a beautiful church located in North Perth.  Then after some family photos the bridal party headed to Hyde Park.  Here we utilised the Morton Bay Figs and ivy (of some description, I was doing well with the naming of plants until this point) for some lush, green portraits before heading to the lake for some autumn colours amongst the Plane Trees.

After, it was off to King Street and the Belgium Beer Cafe.  While the rest of the bridal party headed to the bar, Ilda & Brad were willing to leave them to it and head outside for more portraits.  But don't worry, they had time to grab a beer and some frites with the bridal party too!

Their reception was held at the Esplanade River Suites and the room was decked out in black and white.  My favourite was the bridal party chairs though.  Hired from the same place I bought my studio chair, Orielles, Brad insisted the they sat on thrones for the wedding.  Even though Ilda & Brad are savoury lovers, preferring cheese over chocolate (I love both if you were wondering...) they booked a chocolate fountain from Chocolate Attraction.  It was a big hit surprisingly!

Ilda & Brad, I had an amazing time shooting your wedding and thank you for being my photobooth 'guinea pigs'!  Hope you enjoy the photos!

The next one makes me laugh!
