Joanne & Michael were married at Christ the King Church in Beaconsfield, then made me the happiest photographer ever by choosing to go to FREMANTLE for some photos before their reception at Thompkins Park.

I am photographing Azar & Jason’s wedding down south at the end of January (very excited about a down south wedding!). My second shooter for their wedding will be Charlene from November Images so we met Azar & Jason at Green Park in Mosman Park a few weeks ago to take some pre-wedding portraits shots for them. Azar & Jason brought along their dog Jamie who is a very cute Rotti cross (and resembles a much younger, slimmer version of my dog Lola!)
Here is a selection of the images, some of them are Charlene’s and I am sure she is going to put a few more up on her blog after she gets back from her Chrissy holiday!

Lots more weddings to post before Christmas so stay tuned (or subscribe to my RSS feed!)

Nikki & Shaun were married at Chidley Point Reserve in Mosman Park and had their reception at Freshwater Bay Yacht Club down the road. I loved all the detail at this wedding, the lanterns (I love photographing lanterns at weddings), umbrellas, the thongs on the groom & groomsmen, the gorgeous bridesmaid dresses and of course Nikki’s fabulous dress!
I had Dale’s help as my second photographer for this wedding and am so grateful he gave up a day shooting the surf to help me shoot this wedding! He got some great shots for Nikki & Shaun. If you want a lot of candid images of your wedding, a second photographer is the way to go as they cruise around the wedding pretty unnoticed, grabbing shots of guests and the wedding party.

The thong shot above is Dale’s amazing image, as well as the black and white image of the boys waiting for Nikki & her bridesmaids.

Again the arty sunflare shot is Dale…

See, the dresses and details are just beautiful.

Dale grabbed the image of the flowers and the side view of Nikki & Shaun at Freshwater Bay. I forgot that there were also matching girl/boy EJ Holdens (correct me if they are a different type of Holden…) - too cute!

As the sun went down, Nikki & Shaun headed to the reception where lanterns were hanging where they danced up a storm and played some very different wedding games…

A full post coming after the weekend but I thought that this image deserved its own post! Also I had to lay flat on the ground to get this image and now I am past 30 this is not actually that easy to do!
The cute matching pink & blue Holdens and Nikki’s beautiful dress (and Shaun’s thongs -nice one!) give it this image that retro feel!
So busy at the moment trying to finish all weddings from November before Christmas but hopefully it will be done so I can have a nice relaxing week off before January kicks in again!

Nazlyn and Paul held a small, simple ceremony in Whiteman Park at the start of November. The actual ceremony lasted less than 20 minutes, however they managed to inject so much of their personalities (and Nazlyn’s love for the fine art of shopping) into the ceremony!
Paul has a larger than life personality and I imagine he was the class clown at school. Nazlyn is just so stylish and classy and somehow as a couple they just work.

Most of the time shooting into the sun doesn’t work (one of those rules of photography) but on those rare occasions, it just does! And creates one of those special moments…

Now time for a couple of the more quirky shots!

Paul striking a FABIO pose! If you can’t do the Fabio on your wedding day, when can you?
More images from this wedding can be seen on my flickr account here
