I had a fabulous shoot with this gorgeous family at the start of the month. It was a beautiful sunny day at Heathcote Reserve, perfect for spending time on the beach, at the playground and just hanging out on the grass!

Miss Ruby wasn’t too impressed with me or my camera but I think I managed to capture some moments when she was happy playing around and not worried about the camera.
If you would like to see some more images there are a few more uploaded to my Flickr site here.

I have finally finished Sam & John’s images from their beautiful wedding a few weeks ago in Guildford. The ceremony and afternoon tea was held at Woodbridge House and after some photos in the town of Guildford, the reception was at The Rose & Crown in the Posh Convict bar (such a great name and it was beautifully set up).

An image I took at Père-Lachaise Cemetery in 2001 on my K1000 Pentax film camera (I loved this little beast!) has been included in the online map publication Schmap! You can see my entry here with my name!!! I only recently got some negatives scanned at Fitzgerald Photo Imaging and uploaded onto Flickr so I am very excited that the image got noticed and included.
I cannot wait for my European trip next year (destination wedding in Greece - WOO HOO) to go again to Paris and visit and now with my Schmap on my iPod touch (massive PLUG!) and when I meet a lost tourist I will help them out with the map and casually say “oh by the way, that is my image of the cemetery - you should visit…”

BTW it just goes to show it is not about the camera or the lens… I picked up the K1000 secondhand with one 50mm fixed lens in London for 120 quid and travelled extensively with it until my conversion to digital in 2006!

Not one to blow my own trumpet, ok well maybe a little toot here and there, I have resisted a fan page until now!
When a friend I hadn’t seen for a while (must have been around 9 months) congratulated me on my cute baby (portrait photos from a client new born session) I realised it might be time I stop bombarding friends with images and have a more professional outlet for my posts.
So the Fan Page was born as of this morning! Feel free to become a fan if you like seeing updates of my blog, are one of my future or previous clients or just like looking at wedding images
For my friends on facebook I will unlink the blog to my facebook page so there is no more confusion!

I am so excited to be posting these shots. It was so much fun walking around Fremantle finding little spots for portraits and these two didn’t stop talking or laughing! I can tell that I am going to have a great time shooting their wedding in a couple of weeks.

I am finishing up a wedding from a couple of weeks ago at the moment so watch out for a massive wedding post after the weekend!

We hit Fremantle on Saturday and so did the wind! Am busy finishing editing 2 weddings from the last month and Kat & Andrew’s pre-wedding session but I thought I would post a couple of my favourites. I love love love Freo and we only explored a small section of the town for photo locations - there is so much more to explore and photograph!

Heaps more to come from the fun session!

It was a wet, windy, cold day in Perth, but the rain stopped moments before Tanya arrived at Harold Boa Gardens for the ceremony. Tanya and Ross exchanged vows and had their reception down the road at the City West Reception Centre, after heading around the town in a bright red fire engine for some bridal party portraits.
Thank you so much to Tanya and Ross for allowing me to be a part of your wedding.
